Hi!! I am Emiliya Romanova and I am a recent International Baccalaureate (IB) graduate with a strong academic background in Mathematics Analysis and Approaches Higher Level (Math AA HL). Having successfully completed the rigorous IB Diploma Programme and earned excellent predicted results in mathematics, I understand both the challenges students face and the strategies that lead to success.
This autumn, I will be continuing my education at IE University, where I will study Architecture. Mathematics has always been one of my strongest subjects, and throughout my studies I have developed not only a deep understanding of the material but also the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and approachable way.
As a tutor, I combine professionalism with a friendly and supportive teaching style. Because I have recently completed the same curriculum many students are currently studying, I can offer up to date exam techniques, effective study methods, and practical advice that comes from firsthand experience. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals in a positive learning environment.
I offer online mathematics lessons for students from primary school through high school, including IB students who would like additional support with coursework, exam preparation, or challenging topics. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable.
I look forward to helping you discover that mathematics can be understandable, rewarding, and even enjoyable with the right guidance.

I am a friendly, energetic, and dedicated mathematics tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. As a current student myself, I understand the challenges learners face and know how to explain concepts in a clear, relatable, and engaging way.
My teaching methods:
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each individual's needs and pace. My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. I use step by step explanations, interactive problem-solving, visual examples, and plenty of practice exercises to ensure students develop strong mathematical reasoning skills.
Course of the lesson:
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material and any questions the student may have. We then work through new topics together, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. Throughout the lesson, students actively participate by solving problems and discussing their thought process. I finish each session with a summary of key points and targeted exercises to reinforce learning.

I am patient, positive, and committed to helping students gain both mathematical skills and confidence in their abilities.
