My academic path — a BA in English, an MA in Linguistics, and a Doctoral degree in Education — reflects long-term commitment, curiosity, and respect for depth. Yet what defines me most is not the degrees themselves, but my ability to translate complexity into clarity. I aim to make learners feel intellectually supported rather than overwhelmed.
I am a mentor by nature. In my work at a university, where I educate and guide future English teachers, I do more than teach content — I support professional growth, reflective thinking, and confidence. I listen attentively, ask meaningful questions, and guide rather than impose, creating a learning environment built on respect and trust.
My experience in English for Academic Purposes and English for Specific Purposes, together with managing national and international educational projects, has shaped a broad, informed worldview. Provisional Lessons: English with Depth, Purpose, and Professional Excellence
My provisional English lessons are designed for motivated learners, students, and professionals who seek more than surface-level language practice. Each lesson is grounded in solid linguistic theory, educational methodology, and real-world professional application, reflecting my work as a university-based English educator and mentor of future English teachers.
Lessons are carefully structured and goal-oriented, combining clarity of explanation with reflective, learner-centred activities. Drawing on my academic background (BA in English, MA in Linguistics, PhD in Education), I guide learners to understand not only how English works, but why specific linguistic choices matter in academic, professional, and intercultural contexts.
Depending on learners’ needs, lessons may focus on:
General English, with emphasis on accuracy, register, and communicative appropriateness
English for Academic Purposes, including academic writing, presentations, discourse conventions, and critical reading
English for Specific Purposes (ESP), tailored to professional fields, projects, or institutional requirements
Special attention is given to purposeful language use: developing precision, coherence, and stylistic awareness rather than mechanical rule application. Learners are encouraged to reflect on language choices, develop metalinguistic awareness, and build confidence as competent English users in international environments.
