Hi there
I am a graduate of the Anglo-American School of Moscow and then continued my studies at the British High School of Art and Design. I am Russian and live in Russia, but my whole life I have spoken English with my family and with many of my friends. I love languages and culture, and I am excited to share a bit of my Russian culture with you as we learn together.
I have experience learning and using English in a full immersion environment, so I understand how important it is to combine practical language skills with cultural context. I am looking forward to helping you feel comfortable with Russian, from speaking and listening to reading and writing, while also giving you little insights into the traditions, everyday life, and fun aspects of Russian culture.
I enjoy making lessons friendly, approachable, and interactive so you can practice naturally and feel confident using what you learn. I would be happy to guide you, answer your questions, and share both language skills and cultural stories from my experience living in Russia.

We will go through basic knowledge so you can get comfortable with the language and start using it right away. We will learn conversational Russian and practice everyday dialogues for things like meeting people, going to cafes, or traveling. We will study some slang words that people actually use so you sound natural and not like a textbook. We will go over the rules of grammar and sentence structure in a simple way. You will learn reading and writing starting with the Cyrillic alphabet and moving on to easy texts. We will also talk a little about the culture including traditions, holidays, and daily life so you understand the language in context.
We will spend extra time practicing conversations and using new words so it sticks. We will explore fun slang and common expressions, read slightly longer texts, write simple messages and paragraphs, and get to know more about Russian culture. By the end, you will feel more confident talking, reading, and understanding Russian in real situations.
